Can someone PLEASE give me an unbiased comparison between getting the Nikon D60 and D80?

Wednesday Nov 18, 2009

price, quality image, other key features, your personal usage experiences if youve used one or prefferably both etc. etc

Shorty is right.

I don’t have a D60 or D80, I have the new D90 for a month now.
It’s fantastic.

I would buy the D80 if you don’t need to record movies.
D80 is about $250 more than D60 if you compare the body alone.

If you want style and comfort, get the D80.
If you are on a budget, get the D60.

I need help with buying my first digital slr camera.?

Thursday Nov 5, 2009

I am new to professional photography. I just enrolled in Nyip and I need my first digital slr camera. I am considering nikon d40, d60, d70, d50, or even d40x. I am also considering some canon rebels or eos d60 and what not. Help!!! What are some good choices and how many mefapixels should I go for?

I bought a Nikon D60 and a Nikor 18-200 af vr lens for about $1200. That combination is working fantastically well for me. I got it all from B&H photo in NY. You would be very happy with this setup.
